St Louis Air Show is on this week end at Chesterfield Airport. Still have 2 more days to catch it. The traffic was heavy but be patient and you will get in. Lot’s of parking. Only took about 45 minutest to get to the airport from the nearby shopping center. The Blue Angels have a show at the beginning and at the end. They are fantastic.Auto Tagged By Tagnics

How many of you remember this short lived regional? This was a typical train of the Chicago Missouri and Western, and this is a daily freight from East St. Louis to IHB’s Blue Island Yard. At that time, CM&W was owned by Venango River Corporation, which also owned the South Shore Line at that time. CM&W’s locomotives were serviced at Springfield, IL and at the South Shore’s Michigan City shops.
